The Outdoor Optical Cable GYTC8S,fiber,250μm,are positioned in a loose tube made of a high modulus plastic, the tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. The two sides PSP are longitudinally applied over the outer loose tube. Steel wires and loose tubes filled with water proof compound to ensure compact and longitudinally water blocking ,this part of cable accompanied with the stranded wires as the supporting part are completed with a polyethylene(PE) sheath to be figure 8 structure

Outdoor Optical Cable GYXTC8S are for use with standard messenger clamping and support hardware. The messenger member may be galvinized steel or dielectric. The galvanized steel messenger is a cost saving option for ultimate durability and survival. The dielectric strength member is a fiberglass/aramid/epoxy messenger for high strength and is ideal for use near electrical power lines and in areas of frequent lightning. The figure-eight configuration reduces installation time and cost by approximately 50% compared to separate installation of a messenger wire and the lashing of the cable to the messenger. There are various diameters of strength members appropriate for different maximum unsupported span distances and weather conditions.
